Mignonette Sauce Classic

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar or Champagne vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon minced shallot
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 12 large oysters, freshly shucked

Instructions

  • Stir vinegar, shallot, and pepper in a small bowl. Drizzle over oyster

Mignonette Sauce Rhubarb

  • 1/2 stick rhubarb, finely chopped
  • 2 French shallots, finely chopped
  • 3 oz. red wine vinegar
  • Pinch of sugar
  • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Stir vinegar, rhubarb, shallot, sugar and pepper in a small bowl. Drizzle over oyster
